Two Trees

To fight the good fight of faith is to moment-by-moment CHOOSE between two trees in the garden of your life: the Tree of LIFE or the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. To choose the Tree of LIFE instead of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil requires you to set your mind on things above and not on things below in the earth.

For example, you are on the internet and an ad pops up with the title “5 signs of a heart attack”. Do you give in to fear of the unknown and “click” on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil OR do you choose the Tree of Life and declare in your own hearing that “the law of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and death”.

Another example, you have a pain in your body that you’ve never felt before. Do you start worrying about the pain, go to the internet to research the pain from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil OR do you choose the Tree of Life and declare that “Jesus bore our sickness, disease, and pain in HIS body 2000 years ago, AND by HIS stripes I was healed”, AND decide to worship the Father for this reality in Christ.

We must CHOOSE to speak the TRUTH in faith instead of man's “common sense” and “factual data” regardless of what our five senses are screaming at us. Faith perceives as fact the things the senses cannot perceive. We are to be led by the Spirit of God, not by the dictates of man or the flesh which receives the input of the sense realm.

We are to choose the Tree of Life and think on things that are true, lovely, pure, and of a good report. We are not to think on the lies of the enemy, negativity, and bad reports from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The Godhead, Father, Son, and Spirit dwell bodily inside every Believer. God is greater than anything coming against you, but you must choose to believe this TRUTH from the Tree of Life.

You must choose from the Tree of Life and believe that you have the mind of Christ as the Scriptures declare. He is our wisdom, righteousness, joy, peace, self-control. He is everything we will ever need when we choose his thinking on a matter.

Christ is in us and HE is our Hope of Glory. His Glory is the manifestation of His Presence; the full expression of who the Father is in every moment that we choose the Tree of Life. Which tree will you choose?

Choose LIFE and see the Glory of the Lord. Amen.
